Physicist Nick Herbert, author of "Quantum Reality" is known for his theoretical work on Lorenz microscopy. Another of his books “Elemental Mind: Human Consciousness & the New Physics” is about recent brain research that indicates that quantum models of the mind might explain how our minds interact with matter at the quantum level.
He has an interesting invention called the "Metaphase Twypewriter'' which is driven by quantum events, through which "discarnate beings'' can send messages to the human sphere.
He plans other experiments that might include telepathy machines and spirit communicators, and other daring, yet logical, extensions of the basic premise that mind is as fundamental and free as matter. He is not only an interesting investigator of the mind and consciousness, but a researcher that I believe should be taken seriously.
